BLS RENEWAL

The BLS Renewal Course (Previously Known as Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Renewal) is an instructor-led full classroom course for healthcare providers that have a current BLS Provider certification that is about to expire. It is a very fast-paced course with the assumption that students have had the new course previously explaining each individual skill. This course is not as detailed as the new BLS Provider Course.

This course includes instruction review for working with Adults, Children, and infants. The course will include instruction review and practice time with the pocket mask, the bag mask, the AED, team dynamics, and choking relief skills. Everything you will be exposed to in a hospital and/or medical setting with be covered.

Each course provides the participants with a practice-while-you-watch video, skills practice, skills testing, and a written 25-multiple choice questions written test at the conclusion of the course.

If everything is successfully completed with an acceptable passing score, students will receive a 2-year American Heart certification/completion card that is emailed to the student within 48 hours of the end of class (not to include weekends).
